Diversity Plan in Business
Diversity celebrates the nature of being varied and different. In an industrial and organization setting, diversity looks at the occurrence of employees that are from varied backgrounds with ethnic, cultural, gender, socio-economic and educational differences being the order of the day. It is generally believed that organizations rich in diversity would be able to adapt better as well as come up with enhanced solutions and services as compared to a less diverse group of people. There have been studies that prove that companies that draw from the innate strengths and skills of a diverse set of people show a more positive correlation with success in the market place as well as greater resilience to take on challenges that are part and parcel of any business situation.

Hospice nurse is the most relied on person
In that nursing has grown immensely with modern technology, so have the many branches of nursing. There are many paths, all variant depending on the country you live and work in. Extensive study and research of nursing practice, training, clinical skills and theory are all part of become a nurse. In near every country the practice of nursing is governed by law, regulated by territorial, provincial, national and state boards. This job is considered to be one of the most sensitive ones where the health care industry is concerned. It is known from day one that no matter how much you care and take care of the patient they are not going to survive, so the care is about relieving them from pain, fear and discomfort but not for curing them. It is the nurse who is instrumental in making the last days of the patient as comfortable as possible.
Another duty of a hospice nurse is the admission or intake of a patient and this nurse is usually the first one who meets up and visits the patient. She explains the philosophy of hospice to the caregivers and figures out a plan for caring for the patient. After assessing the condition of the patient she coordinates with the physician about the medications which have to be given to the patient. The numbers might answer why people are often stereotyping nursing profession with the female gender – they see more women in nursing uniform than men making it plausible for them to conclude that nursing is exclusive for women. But there are also debate about the difference of men and women in outlook, working attitudes, emotional structure and the like that lead to this branding.
