Is Obesity Psychological Or Is It All In The Mind?
Recent studies have found that there is an obesity genome. So is obesity psychological for some but not others? Is there more than one type of obesity? Of course most obesity problems are caused by over-eating or poor diet. But there are many people that have a sensible diet and are still massively over weight and some that can eat what they like and stay thin.
There is scientific evidence to suggest that some people have the obesity genomes. Scientists have found that six obesity genes are expressed in the brain. They discovered that these six genes are responsible for regulating body weight. Sadly for some, this means an uphill battle against their own body to tackle their weight problems. People with these genes have to exercise regularly and stick to a rigid well planned diet to maintain a normal physique. Which of course means it can be hereditary. The definition of hereditary is; if your mother and father can’t have children neither can you! Think about it.
